Stefan Kapténs started as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Snellman Group and a member of the Group Management Team as of 3 August 2026. He succeeds the current CFO Stefan Snellman who has previously expressed his interest in passing the baton.

Stefan Kapténs has extensive experience in leadership roles within finance and corporate management. He has served as CFO and CEO at several companies, most recently at Ab Rani Plast Oy.

In his role as CFO Stefan will be responsible, among other things, for leading and developing the Group’s finance function and supporting the Group’s strategic development. He is also responsible for forecasting future financing needs as well as the Group’s risk management and insurance coverage.
